OK You're looking at 2 brothers here.
On the Left is Big Brother Bryan (the handsome one).
He's the Web Master. "The Web site concept was conceived
one night at Allan's place in St. Thomas, over a couple of beers
and a BBQ.
When Al and I were kids we got a toy slot car set for Christmas. I remember a Blue Corvette (my Favorite) and a red Ford sedan( I think it was a Galaxy 500) - we completely wore out 4 of those 8 tires in a few weeks, but we had a BLAST - I was 11 or 12 then. I had forgotten all about that until Al showed me the track he was building in his basement. I was really impressed with the level of detail on these Scalextric Cars - and they seem a LOT faster than the ones we had way back then. They even Sounded more Powerful than I remembered! It didn't take more than 2 laps to bring back all those fond memories from my youth! I'd been looking for a Top Notch Product Line to Promote on the Web - These Scalextric Cars are Great Quality! I can sell these with confidence, knowing they are among the best in the world! As long as they'll stand up to me and my brother - they'll stand up to anything!"
On the Right is Little Brother Allan, (the younger
one) who is the Slot Car Fanatic. He has been building up a collection
of cars and building up a pretty impressive home track too. After
searching the Web and visiting a number of hobby stores throughout
Southwestern Ontario, he was not particularly impressed with
any of the Canadian Web Sites or the local stores that he had
visited. Often the Selection was not there, and pricing was not
very competitive either!
Allan found the Canadian Distributor for FLY and a few other
brands, and decided to get into the business as an extension
of his hobby. " I had to buy about a couple dozen cars to
get started, and I figured if I didn't sell any of them - well
I'd have a few more cars in my collection and the wife might
not get too mad for a while ! I started listing a couple of cars
at a time on E-bay(every time you list something you have to
pay a fee), and believe it or not - we started to sell a few
cars. When Bryan suggested that we should build a web site to
advertise ALL of the Cars and Parts - I had no Idea he was going
to make it just like the Big American Sites - You can pick out
a car, a truck, some parts, another car - and actually complete
the Purchase right on the Web Site!
We Use Pay Pal - it is Safe and Secure - and Slot Car Enthusiasts
from around the world are comfortable using Pay Pal! Bryan and
I both use Pay Pal for all sorts of things and we agree it was
the best way to go!"
